The projects of Senza Fissa Esposizione are not commercial assignments or carefully planned photographic series.
They are ongoing visual logbooks shaped by movement, instinct, and human encounters. Each project explores a different environment, yet they all share the same philosophy: documenting reality from within, allowing people and places to speak for themselves.
SFE: Backbone (Cadiz to Messina)
A 3,500-kilometre journey from Cádiz to Messina, following the southern coastlines of Spain, France, and Italy.
Travelling primarily on foot—and occasionally by hitchhiking, train, or ferry—the journey is sustained through photography itself. Portraits become a form of exchange for food, a place to sleep, a shower, or simply the opportunity to continue moving forward.
More than an expedition, Backbone is an exploration of trust, generosity, and human connection across borders.

Every portrait begins with a conversation, guided only by instinct, curiosity, and the invisible connection that sometimes exists between strangers. The image is simply the final chapter of an encounter that always starts long before the shutter is pressed.

Rather than documenting events from a distance, Reportage focuses on everyday life, communities, and environments through immersion and genuine human relationships.
The goal is not simply to witness reality, but to become part of it long enough to understand it.

Beyond performance.
This project documents the people behind skateboarding and surfing—their routines, sacrifices, friendships, temporary homes, and everyday lives.
It is not about tricks or competitions, but about the culture that exists before and after the action.

SFE: Homeless (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria)
A return to the streets where Senza Fissa Esposizione found its true identity.
This long-term documentary project explores homelessness from the perspective of someone who experienced it firsthand. It focuses on daily routines, invisible struggles, solidarity, and the quiet dignity that often survives even in the hardest conditions.
Rather than looking at homelessness from the outside, the project seeks to document it from within, with respect, honesty, and shared experience.
